Hi there,
This post is simply to introduce myself. I’m the main character in the first and third books of the Antediluvian Adventures series written by Linda Jo Martin. I’m sorry to say the books aren’t published yet although she wrote them years ago. I am seriously impatient for Linda Jo to get these books published so people can find out more about me and my life.
I’m writing this to just mention a few of the aspects of my life.
First of all, I was born and raised in a tiny village in the forest. The village is called Irohila. My father is a scribe, and so am I, because I was trained to be my father’s successor. In our village the position of scribe is a very important and honored one, because not everyone there can read. We scribes are given the responsibility of recording the history of the tribe, and reading the old scrolls to everyone during the winter months while we’re living inside our cave.
There’s only one problem. Unlike my father, I have a problem with wanderlust. Most people in our village have never gone elsewhere, but I traveled out of the valley when I was a very young teenager. I was twelve when I started the journey and thirteen when I returned. That adventure is the subject of the first book in the Antediluvian Adventures series.
When I left Irohila, it was done in secret and with a bit of deception because travel adventures like that are not approved by the village elders. I felt compelled to discover what was out there after I saw some people float by in a boat, on a river near our home.
Linda needs to get this book published someday. I’m going to be prodding her to do so, believe me! The book is all edited to pieces, and she just needs to get it between covers and available to the public. I know she can do this because she already published one other book – something about a River Girl named Claire.
Okay, enough of my jabbering for now. I’ll get back at you soon, and tell more.
Happy days! And nights!
